Online Resources Identified for Animated Tutorial Development |

Version 9 - view current page

This page supports the ANimated Tutorial Sharing Project which is an Open Source project that enables librarians across institutions to share learning objects developed by fellow librarians.

The list initially consisted of e-resources idenfied for joint development, but has evolved beyond these boundaries as librarians have indicated that they would like to share (1) broader information literacy tutorials, (2) literacy tutorials (for public libraries) and (3) tutorials developed specifically for handicapped persons, such as the blind.

Because this list rests on a wiki, anyone can come to it and indicate that they:
  1. Are working on a tutorial for a specific e-resource - or other type of tutorial
  2. Have completed a tutorials for a specific e-resource or other type of tutorial (including hyperlinks to the actual tutorial)
  3. Would like to see a tutorial created for specific e-resource or other type of tutorial (i.e. one on How to evaluate Information Sources)

We do ask all people participating in the project to post to the wiki any time they had adopted a tutorial or have completed one. Doing so enables others to learn that a tutorial exists - or is about to exist - so they do not have to develop one locally.

People wishing to learn what has been adopted or completed can recieve notifications via the wiki's RSS feeds.

Welcome to ANTS!
